Key of David Healing Ministries

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the questions we often get when scheduling appointments.

Q: What are inner healing & deliverance?
A: Inner Healing & Deliverance are ministries to the emotionally wounded and spiritually oppressed.

Q: What method of inner healing / deliverance do you use?
A: We were formally trained in the Sword of the Spirit method, an Elijah House based method.  Both the SoS method and the methods we now use and teach have evolved far beyond what was originally learned.  We have incorporated elements of prophetic deliverance, and adopted and adapted elements (only those that are helpful) used in many of the more widely known 'schools' of ministry today (to include Theophostics, SOZO, Elijah House, Healing Rooms and others).  The result is a combination of some of the best practices in Inner Healing today.  We are continually seeking the Lord and other ministries to increase our understanding and to provide the most beneficial ministry possible to those who seek freedom.

Q: How much do you charge for ministry?
A: Key of David Healing Ministries Does not charge for individual ministry.  We do however rely on gifts / offerings to sustain this work.  We do ask that you take this matter to the Lord in prayer and then to be obedient in giving what is right with you and the Holy Spirit.

We feel that it is scriptural to bring an offering to the Lord when seeking / receiving ministry:
"Saul said to his servant, "If we go, what can we give the man? The food in our sacks is gone. We have no gift to take to the man of God. What do we have?" --1Samuel 9:7

"Then Naaman and all his attendants went back to the man of God. He stood before him and said, "Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. Please accept now a gift  from your servant." --2Kings 5:15

"And He sat down opposite the treasury and saw how the crowd was casting money into the treasury. Many rich [people] were throwing in large sums.  And a widow who was poverty-stricken came and put in two copper mites [the smallest of coins], which together make half of a cent.  And He called His disciples [to Him] and said to them, Truly and surely I tell you, this widow, [she who is] poverty-stricken, has put in more than all those contributing to the treasury."    --Mark 12:41-43

So we believe it is absolutely sciptural to give something  when receiving ministry.  Never the less we will not turn away any of God's children for financial reasons.  To do so would be unscriptural, an insult to the ministry of our Lord Jesus and an affront to God.

Q: How long is an individual ministry session?
A: Individual ministry is actually broken up into two parts.  First the client receives deliverance this portion can take  up to 30 minutes and is conducted prophetically by the ministry partners.  The duration of inner healing sessions varies from client to client but plan between 2-3 hours.  This is somewhat dependant upon how 'informative' the client is when answering interview questions.
The process we use is very gentle but it is thorough.  We want to allow the time necessary for maximum healing to take place.

Q: What does a ministry session look like?
A: Because we are a Holy Spirit led ministry it can take many forms a typical session opens with prayer then the Lord is sought to reveal what spiritual, generational and religious influences are present.  Those are then dealt with.  In the second portion the client is interviewed to determine what judgments, sins, decisions, beliefs, etc. allowed the influence to occur.  These 'open doors' are then closed through targeted prayers of confession, repentance and forgiveness by and or over the client.  The whole process is very gentle.  We do not permit unclean spirits to manifest and take authority immediately over them in the name our Lord and savior Jesus of Nazareth, Son of the Living God.

Q: After the session, "Now what?"
A: Every client that we minister to receives homework to maintain the ground taken in the session and to facilitate further healing.  Once deliverance has taken place those demonic / unclean spirits are no longer influencing the client.  However habits, patterns, and structures built over years are not so easily forgotten.  The homework is designed to replace those ungodly habits with Godly ones.  We also ask that clients follow up with us two weeks after their appointment to determine where they are, spiritually speaking, and to schedule follow up ministry if and as necessary.
